Hwi-Kyung Girl's High School
Seoul, South Korea

This past school year I taught English to high school girls in Seoul. It was a wonderful experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. My classroom was known as the “English Only Room” and students were instructed to speak only English while in the room. I had 20 classes of 24-30 students that I would instruct once a week. We would learn English conversations, dialog and slang that native English speakers often use; especially in movies and on television. My classroom also had an interactive white board that I used daily with every lesson. The students really enjoyed those lessons and jumped at every chance to use the board during class. The classroom also had a plentiful supply of English books, games and computer software. Here are a few pictures of my school and classroom that I have taken during my time as an English teacher abroad.
